Well, take a look at this! Vintage Admiral Television ads from Ebony Magazine from the March and April 1969 issues.
Looks like Pete Campbell's fictional pitch sunk in, after all. Albeit, six years too late.
And does anyone find it hilarious that the ad for Admiral Color television was in black and white in a magazine for African-Americans? Ironic, to say the least.
Admiral ran ads in Ebony Magazine starting in 1961 (see below), but their ads didn't feature African-American consumers until 1969.
